Riana's professional background is in aviation, specifically corporate aviation. She has worked as an international flight attendant on private jets for high-profile business owners based all over the world. Riana is based in Cape Town in South Africa but she has lived and / or worked in Bahrain, Trinidad, Japan, the U.S.A., Saudi Arabia, China, France and Nigeria. She began her coaching career in 2013, teaching Aviation English to cadet pilots for Xiamen Airlines (thereby combining her love for both aviation and the English language.) English is, without a doubt, the world's universal language. However, intercultural communications is about more than just a shared language. With her 30+ years of experience travelling the globe, Riana is able to offer some insight and practical skills when it comes to cross-cultural communications too.

Riana holds an Advanced Diploma of Educational Studies in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the TEFL Training College in London.
